How many documents can I generate in a batch?

How fast is batch processing?

DocsAutomator generates multiple documents in parallel, so even large batches complete quickly. Speed depends on document complexity, but most teams see around 30 documents per minute. Rate limits are handled automatically so nothing breaks.

Can I trigger batch processing via API?

Yes. You can trigger batch runs through the DocsAutomator API. Each request returns a tracking ID so you can monitor progress and retrieve the finished documents.

What happens if a document fails during batch processing?

DocsAutomator automatically retries failed documents. If a document keeps failing, it's flagged with error details in your run history so you can fix the issue. The rest of the batch continues processing normally.

Can I batch process with Google Sheets?

Yes. Google Sheets has built-in batch processing support. Use the manual trigger button in DocsAutomator to process all rows in your sheet, or selected rows based on a filter. Each row generates a separate document.

Can I schedule batch runs?

DocsAutomator doesn't have built-in scheduling, but you can easily set up scheduled batch runs using Zapier, Make, n8n, or any automation tool with a timer. Just connect it to DocsAutomator and your documents will be generated on your chosen schedule.

What happens if my quota runs out mid-batch?

If your document quota is reached during a batch run, remaining jobs will fail with a quota exceeded error. Completed documents are not affected. You can upgrade your plan or wait for the next billing cycle, then re-run the remaining records.

Can I process only specific rows or records?

Yes. For Google Sheets, you can filter rows before triggering a batch run. For Airtable, use views to define which records to process. For API triggers, you control exactly which records to include in each batch request.
